Free Magic Show
Alan Watson was a big hit with both the children and adults this year. It was great to hear the loud gasps of surprise and excitement from all the children as he amazed them with his tricks & illusions. In the 2015 New Years Honors list it was announced that Alan Watson was a recipient of The Queens Service Medal (QSM) – For services as a magician.
Alan is regarded by his peers as one of this country’s leading magicians.
This was a giant fun attraction this year. Everyone loved making the bubbles. Giant Bubbles love bringing joy, magic, and wonder to all those who see their Giant Bubble shows and to everyone who creates their own. Thank you to Shahn from Giant Bubbles (a Laingholm based business) for generously supplying their products to help make the day a blast for the kids… and us big kids.
Laingholm Volunteer Fire Brigade
The Laingholm Volunteer Fire Brigade displayed some amazing appliances on the day including this giant RNZAF crash tender from Whenuapai airbase. LVFB is made up of volunteers from the local community to provide emergency services to Laingholm and surrounding areas. Please click here and get in touch with them if you would like to find out more about joining as a volunteer.
Free Bouncy Castle
Like everyone, we believe that celebrations should be full of as much fun & excitement as possible! Kid’s loved to leap around and use up all that energy on the day. Due to the uncertainty in the weather the castle was set up in the Langholm Primary School hall. Once again, thank you to Brigid & Sacha for sponsoring the bouncy castle.
We have a talented and friendly face painting artist, who will delight you and your children with their friendly manner and their artistic talents.
